If even an age-old canal house can be sustainable, can't it be possible anywhere?

Wubbo Ockels , Astronaut and founder De Groene Grachten

We see more and more residents making their monument more sustainable. A positive development that we as a municipality embrace and encourage. Taking sustainable measures in a monument requires care and customization. We believe it is important to support our residents in this. By entering into a partnership with the Green Menu, we offer you a wide range of solutions to make your monument more sustainable.

Kees Wassenaar , Councilor cultural heritage

Thanks to the new double glazing and the replacement of the old gas boiler, the gas tap in our monumental building was one step further to being closed. Two birds with one stone; greatly improved thermal insulation, but also a noticeable and highly desirable reduction in noise pollution from the street and the water.

Family Overweg , Keizersgracht

We have preserved our National Monument from 1657. We started with The Green Menu. De Groene Grachten then provided excellent advice and provided insight into what is possible, how sustainable it is and how profitable it is. They also offered assistance with the permit application to the municipality. We are very satisfied with the result!
